Healdsburg’s Wild Steelhead Festival Is Just A Few Days Away!

Respect, restore, and celebrate the wild steelhead in Sonoma County with good food, wine, and music!

On February 5th, the Festival will begin with a gala dinner at Hotel Healdsburg. The main event will be on February 6th at the Healdsburg Plaza from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.  This day  will be filled with a lot of fun- educational exhibits, a free trout pond for the young angler’s to try their luck, a fly fishing demonstration pond with tips from the pros, fishing gear and boats, art for kids, cooking demos by local chefs at 12 noon, 1:15 and 2:30. Be sure to check out the live steelhead display as these beautiful fish swim around. There will be music from the Rose Town Ramblers, and wine tasting from  Quivira, Steelhead Wines, Truett-Hurst Vineyards, Merriam Vineyards, Michel Schlumberger Vineyardsand Simi Winery. Tasty treats from Chef Mateo Granados, Dry Creek Kitchen, Costeaux French Bakery, Vintage Valley Catering and Love Farms will be available for purchase.

On February 7th, there will be fish- themed cooking classes at the acclaimed Relish Culinary Center in Healdsburg. Or book a fishing trip to those secret spots with experienced guides.  Family activities, art for kids, fish sorting, food, music and more will take place 10 -3pm at the Lake Sonoma Fish Hatchery.
